For decades there has been a ‘widget’ that gives cans of a well known Irish beer a creamy, thick, full head. After vandeStreek installed a nitrogen generator to carry out numerous production processes in the brewery, it was only logical to also put the nitrogen to use to replicate this style. Therefore Hard Pour Coffee Stout is saturated with nitrogen during canning.
To get the sought after velvety effect in your glass you should do the following: a short, vigourous shake of the can; open and pour quickly into the middle of a large glass – not slowly down the side. Then enjoy Hard Pour with a creamy head!
Brewed with Sabro, Columbus and Magnum hops with the addition of coffee and cacao, creating a robust and authentic flavour profile to match that of a traditional stout.
