Port Vell, the place, is part of Barcelonas harbour and one of the most beautiful areas of the city. The imposing and iconic Clock Tower was originally built as a light-house in 1772.
Botanicals used include angelica root, bitter orange peel, calamus, clove, coriander, ginger, juniper and lemon peel. Clean, dry and nicely bitter with a classic juniper nose, a touch of citrus, spice and balsam; smooth aromatic and unctuous. Add a slice of fresh ginger and a couple of cardamom pods.
