Product Description La Rioja Alta is widely recognised to be one of the finest wineries in the Rioja region. The estate has a history dating back over 100 years with the accumulated experience and knowledge being passed down through the generations and translated into the wines of the estate.
On the nose red fruit (raspberries, wild strawberries and red plums), which give way to notes of vanilla, nutmeg, caramel and cedar from the 24 months barrel ageing. On the palate this wine is incredibly concentrated, yet well balanced with smooth tannins. This is great to drink now but will evolve further over the next 3-5 years+.
