La Rioja Alta is widely recognised to be one of the finest wineries in the Rioja region. The estate has a history dating back over 100 years with the accumulated experience and knowledge being passed down through the generations and translated into the wines of the estate. The Viña Arana Gran Reserva is only produced in specific vintages that meet with the wine makers high standards.

Intense aromas with outstanding notes of redcurrants, raspberries, wild blackberries and ripe red plums creating a complex bouquet together with the balsamic notes from the barrel: vanilla, cloves, coffee, caramel and brioche. Fresh, vibrant and well-balanced, with amiable sweet tannins. Great to enjoy now but this wine has a long life ahead of it!
