Product DescriptionProduced by Ken Forrester, a man who is widely considered to be a legend within South African wine production, especially Chenin Blanc.
Made from grapes sourced from a very old dry-land vineyard in the Piekenierskloof region planted in 1965. This wine has been handled as gently as possible. It is unfiltered, unfined and may form harmless crystals truly a sign of quality. Only 7 x 400L barrels of this wine were produced!
A tight, bright, mineral wine with texture and mouth-feel and a hint of phenolic structure, a soft acidity and a pear drop intensity. Crafted to age and gain complexity in the bottle.
