Product Description
Predominantly made from very old Monastrell grapes (60%) with the addition of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah. Maceration and fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats, the wine is then aged for around 18 months in carefully selected French and American oak barrels.
Deep purple colour and a toasty, earthy nose with hints of spice and a touch of balsamic. It opens in the glass to reveal excellent depth of savoury flavours, with plenty of spice and a long, smooth finish. Ready to drink now but will keep well for 5-10 years+.
